Requirements
  • Master’s degree in law
  • Strong academic background with an interest in financial services
  • Previous experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in the payments or financial services sector
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • You are a team player with good communication skills
  • You have excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Work with the team to handle customer complaints and manage the reporting towards authority and counterparties
  • Conduct legal research on payment regulations, consumer protection, data protection
  • Assist in preparing and organizing corporate documentation
  • Monitor regulatory updates in Italy and the EU and prepare internal briefs and summaries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Finance, Product, Marketing, Tech, Sales) to ensure legal alignment with business initiatives
  • Review, draft, and support the negotiation of contracts (including, for example, merchant agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and marketing agreements)
