Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 4 years of client success, account management, and/or business development experience is required.
  • Experience in media, incentives, and/or insights is required.
  • Experience maximizing investment decisions across a portfolio is required.
  • Experience with project management is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full commercial portfolio account, applying commercial acumen across the entire portfolio.
  • Understand Kroger business processes and provide data-driven, customer-centric consultation.
  • Oversee client goals and objectives across the commercial portfolio while serving as the primary point of contact for aligned clients.
  • Retain budgets through active client engagement and oversee and deliver total-business quarterly business reviews, including Media Upfront, Loyalty Plan, and Insights Annual Plan reviews.
  • Identify and close opportunities with Kroger-facing teams, including Client Partnerships, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, and Shopper Insights, to deliver on budget.
  • Lead all insights subscription renewals for 84.51° Stratum, Collaborative Cloud, and Data Direct.
  • Maximize adoption and value creation from insights subscriptions.
  • Consult on insights utilization supporting merchandising processes such as shelf, assortment, price and promotion, category strategy, supply chain, and innovation.
  • Connect insights utilization to activation opportunities and support insights-to-activation utilization.
  • Engage corporate data science organizations on data utilization, including Collaborative Cloud consultation.
  • Ensure flawless commercial execution across the book of business.
  • Drive strategic recommendations and brand-performance conversations using the full suite of commercial products.
  • Own client performance and value-creation conversations for aligned clients.
  • Lead strategic recommendations and questions for the overall business.
  • Proactively explore and source ideas to drive larger portfolio offerings from clients and industry, process, and account support.
  • Partner with Sales, Kroger teams, Data Science, Finance and Accounting, and Product Strategy to deliver consistently positive client experiences.
