About the job
- You have a technical qualification (BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS) focused on industrial maintenance, construction or agricultural machinery maintenance, or a related technical area.
- You have professional mechanical experience and experience with construction equipment.
- Ensure the rental equipment offered is compliant and in good technical, safety, and presentation condition.
- Ensure the safety and organization of workshop work, including scheduling, interventions, and repairs to equipment made available to customers.
- Plan the activity of the workshop and yard team and manage intervention priorities.
- Train the workshop team when necessary or propose training.
- Conduct a weekly yard inspection with the yard and branch managers.
- Prepare quotes and supplier purchase orders, and optimize purchases to stay within the annual budget.
- Check the compliance of purchased parts and/or services upon receipt.
- Schedule periodic maintenance and regulatory inspections with customers and manage follow-up.
- Maintain workshop activity tracking documents, including service checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Report on work progress against set objectives.
- Manage the stock of parts and consumables.
- Maintain and repair equipment and ensure regulatory inspections are properly carried out.
- Diagnose faults and, when necessary, perform on-site breakdown repairs.
- Check interventions and repairs performed by subcontractors.
