What believers are saying

  • Clinical hiring spans several levels: AgeCare's October 2026 board lists nursing, personal-support and clinical-leadership jobs.
  • Leaders are learning new tools: AgeCare trained over 200 in AI and automation before October 2026's Innovation Lab launch.

What critics are saying

  • Employment terms differ by site: AgeCare's 2024 report lists 87 collective agreements, 20 unions and 135 benefit plans.
  • Many vacancies lack permanent status: an October 2026 AgeCare board snapshot listed 362 casual and 106 temporary postings.
  • Pricing freedom is limited: AgeCare's 16-home Ontario partnership receives provincially set funding and resident co-payments.

What makes AgeCare unique
