About the job
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, JavaServer Pages, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation, HyperText Markup Language, XHTML, XML/XSD, and web design.
- Proficiency with Model–View–Controller frameworks, Oracle BEA Application Server, and Oracle Database.
- Proficiency with Eclipse, source code control systems, Photoshop, and other necessary software.
- Proficiency with the ATG eCommerce Framework and Endeca Search Engine.
- Proficiency with microservices and headless architecture.
- Proficiency with Amazon Web Services cloud technologies.
- Proficiency implementing ATG-based applications; large-scale implementation experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Oracle ATG Commerce, Commerce Service Center, Endeca Experience Manager, or Page Builder.
- Knowledge of Java thread and memory dumps and when to use them.
- Good understanding of web services, including SOAP, WSDL, and RESTful services.
- Understanding of build processes and tools, including Ant, Maven, automated builds, and continuous builds.
- Knowledge of developing applications, templates, and components for Adobe CQ5, including WCM, DAM, CQSE, and CRX.
- Experience with ExtJS and web content management system development.
- Strong experience with content management systems.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create sophisticated design solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple project timelines in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Assist the lead developer and other developers with analysis, design, development, and performance optimization of web applications.
- Develop Java and Java Platform, Enterprise Edition solutions, including user-interface web presentation components.
- Assist the lead developer and project manager during the project cycle with technical and project details and scenarios involving new or changed code.
- Provide input to the technical lead and architect on development solutions.
- Design websites and web-based applications.
- Conceptualize and create wireframes, graphical templates, and other graphical elements for web-based projects.
- Ensure site design integrity and quality-control consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate with the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience developing on an Oracle ATG platform, although experience developing on any major Java platform is also highly desirable.
- Large-scale ATG implementation experience.
