Terex Q3 revenue jumps 58% to $2.20B as analysts probe margin headwinds

Terex beat Wall Street estimates for the third quarter, with revenue of $2.20 billion against expectations of $2.17 billion. Revenue rose 58.4% year on year, and adjusted earnings per share were $1.50 versus the $1.42 forecast. Chief executive officer Simon Meester credited strong demand in materials processing, specialty vehicles, and aerials. Pro forma orders rose 53% year on year. Adjusted EBITDA of $286 million missed estimates slightly. Operating margin fell to 8.3% from 10.1%, which management blamed on shipment timing, freight inflation, and production ramp-up inefficiencies. Terex lifted its full-year revenue guidance to $8.1 billion at the midpoint from $8.05 billion. It kept adjusted EPS guidance at $4.90. Shares trade at $56.68, up from $51.66 before the results.

Terex to acquire Belgian crusher maker Keestrack, which will stay an independent brand

Terex Corporation will acquire Keestrack, a Belgian maker of mobile crushing and screening equipment, under a definitive agreement. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1988, Keestrack serves the aggregates, recycling, construction, and demolition industries in more than 65 countries through over 70 distributors. The deal expands the crushing and screening portfolio of Terex Materials Processing and adds manufacturing and distribution capabilities. Keestrack will remain an independent brand, and its leadership will stay in place. Peter and Frederik Hoogendoorn will continue in leadership roles. Co-founders Kees and Annet Hoogendoorn will support a transition period. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Terex Q3 sales rise 58% to $2.2B as backlog hits $7B, though full-year EBITDA guidance is cut by $40M

Terex Corp reported third-quarter 2026 sales of $2.2 billion, up 58% as reported and 11.6% pro forma. Adjusted EBITDA was $286 million, a 13% margin. Pro forma orders rose 53% to $2.3 billion, and backlog reached $7 billion. Free cash flow was $209 million, and the company raised its full-year outlook to $360 million–$400 million. It returned $91 million to shareholders and set a new $500 million buyback authorisation. Terex cut its full-year EBITDA guidance by $40 million, citing segment mix, freight inflation, and production ramp-up inefficiencies. It now expects $930 million–$960 million. The company is in active talks with multiple strategic parties over separating its aerials segment.

Terex lifts Q3 bookings 53%, approves $500M buyback and engages buyers for Aerials sale

Terex Corporation said strong results in Materials Processing and Specialty Vehicles helped offset temporary inefficiencies in its Environmental Solutions segment in the third quarter. Pro forma bookings rose 53% year-over-year, giving a book-to-bill ratio of 103%. The board approved a new $500 million share repurchase authorisation. Terex expects about $28 million in synergies for 2026, and net leverage stands at 2.3x after the REV Group merger. It sold Capacity and Lay-Mor, which will cut annualised revenue by $125 million to $150 million. The Aerials separation has moved into active talks with strategic buyers, though management gave no timeline. Terex is expanding capacity in South Dakota and Florida to cut Specialty Vehicle lead times from over 24 months toward 12.

Finlay introduces Elektro hybrid range in India.

Finlay introduces Elektro hybrid range in India. The new hybrid products have been designed to help customers reduce fuel consumption, lower operating costs and support more sustainable operations. Oct 28, 2026 - 15:58 Finlay(R) has introduced Elektro, a new range of tracked hybrid crushing equipment developed and manufactured by Terex India at its Hosur facility. Officially unveiled at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, the new Elektro machines are available initially for the Indian market and will be introduced across selected international markets where Tier 3 emission standards apply. Combining Finlay crushing technology with flexible diesel-electric operation, the new hybrid products have been designed to help customers reduce fuel consumption, lower operating costs and support more sustainable operations. Interest in the new range was evident throughout the launch programme, with close to 170 customers attending a Finlay conference and inauguration event in the lead-up to bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026. The event featured presentations and discussions on the Finlay brand, technology roadmap and future opportunities, before culminating in the official inauguration of the Elektro range. The Elektro range debuts with two models: the J-1170 Elektro jaw crusher and C-1540 Elektro cone crusher, with additional products planned as the portfolio expands. Both models can operate using mains electricity where a grid connection is available, or via an onboard diesel-powered generator when working in remote locations. This approach allows customers to benefit from electric-drive technology without sacrificing the flexibility required for quarrying, mining, demolition and recycling applications. It also helps reduce fuel consumption, lower maintenance requirements and support lower emissions compared to conventional diesel-hydraulic machines. "Customers across India and other Tier 3 markets are increasingly focused on improving productivity and managing operating costs, while also looking for practical ways to reduce fuel consumption and emissions," said Mohit Kumar, Assistant General Manager of Products, Terex India. "Developed and manufactured by Terex India at its Hosur facility, the Elektro range combines local engineering expertise with the global design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities of Terex. The result is a hybrid crushing solution that delivers operating flexibility, a lower cost of ownership and long-term value, while helping customers advance their sustainability goals." Built on one of Finlay's most established jaw crusher platforms, the J-1170 Elektro incorporates a direct electric-drive Terex single-toggle jaw chamber and heavy-duty vibrating grizzly feeder. Designed for quarrying, mining, demolition and recycling applications, the machine delivers the productivity expected from the J-1170 platform while helping customers reduce fuel consumption, lower maintenance requirements and improve overall cost per tonne through the benefits of hybrid power. The aggressive crushing action generated by its high-swing jaw design promotes efficient material entry into the crushing chamber to support consistent throughput and performance. The machine also features a double-door electrical panel designed for demanding dusty environments and an integrated telematics system for real-time machine performance monitoring. Joining the range is the C-1540 Elektro cone crusher, which pairs the Terex(R) 1000 cone chamber with direct electric drive technology and hydraulic closed side setting adjustment. At the heart of the machine is the Automax cone crusher, which uses a high-throw design to produce high-quality aggregates while delivering strong throughput and performance. The machine is also equipped with automated metal detection and a cone level sensor to promote consistent choke feeding, helping maximise productivity, product quality and line utilisation. Like the J-1170 Elektro, it features a double-door electrical panel to provide protection in dusty conditions and integrated telematics for real-time machine monitoring. The J-1170 Elektro and C-1540 Elektro are available in India and will be introduced across selected international markets where Tier 3 emission standards apply, with additional Elektro models planned as the range continues to evolve.
