  • Multiple state licenses are ideal, and the willingness and ability to obtain licensure in additional states is required.
  • 5 -7+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
  • 3+ years of combined experience in outpatient settings.
  • Experience in oncology care (in an outpatient setting is valued).
  • Board-Certification in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) is valued.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized nutrition counseling through our virtual platform to support patients of all ages in managing and preventing chronic conditions, with a particular focus on oncology care.
  • Work within a team-based approach, partnering with physicians, nurses, clinical pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, health coaches and member advocates to integrate nutrition and lifestyle guidance into patient care plans.
  • Encourage patient’s health ownership and empowerment by providing tools, resources, support, and education to strengthen intrinsically motivated and informed lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with patients to create actionable nutrition, lifestyle and supportive environment change plans that align with their health goals, hierarchy of needs, readiness, preferences, skills, and emotional and environmental circumstances.
  • Counseling on this essential component when patients face appetite and weight loss issues during the course of treatments.
  • Conduct virtual group classes on nutrition and lifestyle topics related to chronic disease prevention/management intersecting with a harmonious relationship with food and body.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our nutritional services by providing feedback and innovative ideas.
  • Deliver compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families during challenging times, fostering trust and understanding.
