About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, is required.
  • Three to five years in product management, technical program management, solutions architecture, integration engineering, or a comparable role, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a feature, integration, or product area.
  • Ability to read an API specification or data feed schema, reason about its capabilities and limitations, and participate effectively in design discussions with engineers.
  • Experience producing technical documentation that other people have used.
  • Current, hands-on use of AI tools within a product workflow, with a work sample such as a prototype, specification, or research synthesis.
  • Experience defining product success metrics and evaluating them after launch.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, implementation, and go-to-market teams in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Strong written communication skills, with a track record of clear product documentation.
  • Maintain a dedicated, separate home office or room to ensure privacy and professional working conditions.
  • Maintain a reliable, high-speed internet connection at the employee's residence.
  • Must reside and work exclusively within the contiguous United States.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must notify and receive approval from the IT department before working from a location other than the legal address on file.
  • When confidential information is carried into a foreign country, it must be stored in an inaccessible form, such as encrypted external storage, or remain in the worker's possession at all times. Secret company information may not be taken into another country without permission from Physical Security management.
  • Ability to remain stationary while working at a computer, operate a computer and other office equipment, frequently communicate by voice and video, exchange accurate information using voice over internet protocol, and perform repetitive finger and forearm motions for data entry.
Responsibilities
  • Own the integrations product area end-to-end, including discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch iteration.
  • Own and maintain the documentation and technical standard for electronic medical record integrations; partner with Implementation, which delivers against that standard.
  • Specify integrations through data models, field mappings, feed structures, application programming interface contracts, error handling, and failure modes.
  • Evaluate existing data feeds for unrealized capability and develop the case and requirements for using that capability.
  • Provide technical assessments for third-party and vendor integration evaluations in partnership with the decision-makers for those choices.
  • Translate customer, clinical, implementation, and engineering input into build-ready requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Define success metrics during discovery and evaluate whether releases achieved them after launch.
  • Scope integrations and manufacturer application programming interfaces that do not yet exist, positioning the platform for their arrival.
  • Own artificial intelligence prompts and data-capture patterns within the integrations domain in partnership with the AI team.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering as an embedded partner.
  • Use AI tools to prototype, synthesize research, and draft specifications, product requirements documents, and release materials.
  • Convert engineering deliverables into release notes and flag training and marketing follow-up.
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of PaceMate products and services.
  • Maintain current knowledge and the ability to comprehend and apply policies.
  • Follow PaceMate mission, vision, and customer service standards.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze, access, input, and retrieve data.
  • Report pertinent information and assist with tasks supporting department operations and organizational goals.
  • May undertake limited travel based on business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with genuinely difficult integration work, such as high-volume or near-real-time data feeds, proprietary or poorly documented formats, systems of record, or integrations where completeness and correctness mattered more than speed.
  • Experience owning an integration as a product, including its data model, specification, documentation, and the standard other teams built against.
  • Experience productizing an integration platform, connector framework, or partner application programming interface program.
  • Experience evaluating and integrating third-party services into an existing product surface.
  • Healthcare interoperability standards such as Health Level Seven and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources, electronic medical record or electronic health record integration experience, and familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; these are useful but not expected.
  • Experience building or testing customer engagement or clinical workflow platforms.

About the company

PaceMate provides remote cardiac monitoring through a cloud-based platform that healthcare providers use to collect, monitor, and analyze real-time heart data from patients. The system supports virtual care by integrating telemedicine features such as videoconferencing and continuous data streams, enabling clinicians to assess heart health without in-person visits. The product works by gathering data from patients’ monitoring devices, sending it to the cloud where it is analyzed, and delivering actionable insights to clinicians for timely decisions. PaceMate differentiates itself by combining real-time analytics with seamless telemedicine integration and by forming partnerships with healthcare organizations on a subscription model, rather than relying on standalone devices. Its goal is to improve patient outcomes, increase the efficiency of cardiac care, and reduce infection risk by enabling safe, remote monitoring and care at scale.
