Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Must hold a license to practice independently in Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
  • Experience with individual and family-focused therapy is beneficial.
  • Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or acceptance and commitment therapy is beneficial.
  • Experience with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is beneficial.
  • Experience with health psychology involving chronic health issues or pain management is beneficial.
  • Experience with CADC is beneficial.
  • Experience with marriage and family therapy is beneficial.
  • Experience with intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs is beneficial.
  • Experience with group therapy is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Manage an individual caseload of at least 20 attended client sessions per week while providing weekly supervision to a maximum of four supervisees.
  • Support supervisees in facilitating and documenting appropriate assessments, recommendations, and referrals when needed.
  • Review and sign supervisees' notes to ensure proper documentation and billing.
  • Approve biweekly clinical hours recorded by the therapy team, time-off requests, and other submitted requests.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions through evidence-based and clinically appropriate individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy.
  • Participate in continuing education unit and didactic training programs to facilitate growth and mastery in an identified specialty area.
  • Participate in supplemental services and clinic program-development opportunities, including group therapy, blog writing, and additional training.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, physician assistants, social workers, professional counselors, and other mental health professionals.
  • Manage and organize the individual schedule using the electronic scheduler.
  • Attend and participate in individual and group supervision and required department meetings.
  • Participate in internal and external marketing and networking meetings.
  • Complete required onboarding and other training deemed necessary for new hires.
