Responsibilities

Manages the facilitation and implementation of each assigned Managed Care Agreement through internal and external operational reviews. Proactively identifies operational and financial improvement opportunities relating to contract performance as well as responds to payor negotiation inquiries. Manages the hospital/payor negotiations for less complex payors and interaction in order to facilitate the contractual relationship between both parties.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Minimum five years provider relations, negotiation and/or managed care experience 2. Strong understanding of hospital and professional reimbursement methodologies 3. Experience with contract modeling software 4. Ability to work independently 5. Strong management and leadership skills 6. Strong analytical skills 7. Excellent organizational skills 8. Excellent communication skills 9. Strong working knowledge of computer spreadsheet programs 10. Excellent project management skills PREFERRED:1. McKesson/HBOC Trendstar CPA and CCA modules
