SLB revenue rises to $9.45 billion as Data Center business expands.

SLB revenue rises to $9.45 billion as Data Center business expands. SLB reports higher third-quarter revenue and $828 million in free cash flow as oilfield activity improves, while its data center business adds a separate growth driver. By Benjamin Harper Edited by Michael Foster Published: Oct 24, 2026 at 9:06 pm UTC Updated: Oct 24, 2026 at 9:07 pm UTC Key notes. * SLB's third-quarter revenue rose 6% from a year earlier to $9.45 billion, while adjusted EPS fell to $0.64. * The company generated $828 million in free cash flow and bought back $656 million of shares during the quarter. * Data Center Solutions revenue increased 23% from the previous quarter as SLB develops a business beyond traditional oilfield services. SLB (NYSE: SLB) reported third-quarter revenue of $9.45 billion, up 6% from a year earlier, as stronger oilfield activity and an expanding data center business helped sales. Profit measures were more mixed, with adjusted earnings per share below last year's level. The October 23 results showed adjusted EPS of $0.64, compared with $0.69 a year earlier and $0.55 in the preceding quarter. GAAP net income was $735 million, or $0.49 a share. The report gives shareholders two growth themes to assess: demand for SLB's traditional energy services and its effort to build a larger role supplying infrastructure for data centers. Revenue growth includes the championx acquisition. Quarterly revenue increased 5% from the preceding three months. All geographical areas grew sequentially, with management citing recovering Middle Eastern activity, North American demand and international offshore projects. The annual comparison includes a change in the scope of the business. ChampionX contributed $956 million of revenue in the latest quarter, compared with $579 million when only two months of the acquired operations were included a year earlier. Excluding the acquisition's impact, SLB said global revenue rose 2% year over year. North American revenue increased 13% on that basis, while international revenue was flat. That underlying comparison is more useful for judging demand than treating the full reported 6% increase as organic growth. The acquisition adds scale, but it also changes the base against which the company's performance is measured. Earnings improve sequentially but trail last year. Adjusted EBITDA reached $2.07 billion, up 9% from the second quarter and essentially unchanged from a year earlier. The adjusted EBITDA margin was 21.9%, compared with 21.2% in the preceding quarter and 23.1% a year earlier. The figures show an improvement through the year without a complete recovery to the previous year's profitability. Higher revenue alone has not produced a corresponding annual increase in every earnings measure. Production Systems generated $4 billion in revenue, up 15% year over year on the reported basis. Well Construction and Reservoir Performance both grew from the preceding quarter but remained below their year-earlier revenue levels. SLB's prepared remarks frame the recovery around energy security, offshore development and efforts to restore production. Those are management's expectations for the activity cycle, rather than evidence that all planned customer spending has already become revenue. Data centers add a different growth driver. Data Center Solutions revenue increased 23% from the preceding quarter, supported by demand, a broader range of services and expansion into Asia. SLB did not identify that percentage as a year-over-year growth rate. The business gives the company exposure to investment outside conventional oilfield operations. However, its growth should be assessed alongside the scale and profitability of the established energy businesses, rather than treating SLB as a pure AI infrastructure company. Its previously announced Kelvion agreement would add thermal-management and heat-exchange technology. The proposed transaction involves approximately $3.4 billion in cash and the assumption of around $700 million in debt, with closing expected in the first half of 2027 subject to approvals and other conditions. That acquisition remains pending. The financial commitment and future integration work are part of the data center expansion story, alongside potential demand for cooling and related systems. Cash generation funds returns and investment. SLB generated $1.51 billion in operating cash flow and $828 million in free cash flow during the quarter. It repurchased 12.9 million shares for $656 million, taking nine-month buybacks to $1.76 billion. The board also approved a quarterly dividend of $0.295 a share, payable January 7, 2027, to holders of record on December 2. The distribution has been declared, but it is a future payment rather than cash returned in the reported quarter. As MarketSpeaker previously reported, cash generation and shareholder returns have also been central to recent mining results. For SLB, the next test is sustaining cash flow while funding the energy business, expanding data center capabilities and meeting its acquisition commitments.

CHX deadline: CHX investors with losses in excess of $100K have opportunity to lead ChampionX Corporation securities fraud lawsuit.

CHX deadline: CHX investors with losses in excess of $100K have opportunity to lead ChampionX Corporation securities fraud lawsuit. * By THE ROSEN LAW FIRM, P. A. * 10 hrs ago * 0 NEW YORK, June 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Why: Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds sellers of common stock of ChampionX Corporation (NASDAQ: CHX) between February 29, 2024 and April 1, 2024 (the "Class Period"), of the important July 14, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline. So what: If you sold ChampionX common stock during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement. What to do next: To join the ChampionX class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/championx-corporation/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action. A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than July 14, 2026. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. Why Rosen Law: Ricentral encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved, at that time, the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs' Bar. Many of the firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers. Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period failed to disclose material information, which artificially deflated the price of ChampionX common stock. On February 29, 2024, ChampionX received an unsolicited non-public offer from Schlumberger Limited to purchase all the outstanding shares of ChampionX for $36.70 per share. On March 7, 2024, Schlumberger raised its offer to $37.80 per share. The lawsuit alleges that while these offers were on the table and unknown to the investing public, ChampionX was repurchasing its common stock at market prices significantly below the prices offered by Schlumberger. ChampionX had an obligation to disclose that it had received a formal acquisition offer from Schlumberger or abstain from purchasing ChampionX stock from unsuspecting investors. During the Class Period, ChampionX's average stock price was $33.32 per share. On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, during pre-market hours, ChampionX disclosed the merger with Schlumberger. The merger eventually closed on July 16, 2025, with Schlumberger acquiring ChampionX for $40.58 per share. To join the ChampionX class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/championx-corporation/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action. No Class Has Been Certified. Until a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. You may select counsel of your choice. You may also remain an absent class member and do nothing at this point. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff.
