Responsibilities
  • Works directly with the Director of Operations to perform day of show duties
  • Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all VIP lounge reservations.
  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations
  • Follow up with Concessionaire AGM, and Director of Operations to ensure that service standards are met.
  • Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy.
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
  • Supervise Operations staff and ensure staff receives their mandated rest and meal breaks.
  • Suggestive selling of all venue products and services when applicable.
  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.
  • Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management directly to staff.
  • Turn in all lost and found articles to Guest Services.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training & Live Nation alcohol policies.
  • Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by all staff at all points of guest contact as well as maintaining the security of Back of House areas.
  • Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have.
  • Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues- consults or involves management if the situation escalates.
  • Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements.
  • Assist MOD with all ejection logs and incident reports.
  • Assist MOD with all associated Vinyl Room paperwork.
  • Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a live music environment for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Restaurant experience of a minimum 2 years.
  • College diploma in related field.
  • Seven Rooms or other reservation system knowledge

Live Nation backs Creator Nation to acquire and grow creator management firms

Live Nation is launching Creator Nation, a new firm focused on managing and supporting creators in the digital economy. The venture will be led by co-founders Scott and Alexis Fisher, who previously founded management companies acquired by other entities. Creator Nation will provide creators with support across content, commerce, brand partnerships and live experiences. The firm plans to acquire and grow creator management companies whilst offering resources to help them operate more efficiently. Live Nation will provide financial and logistical backing, with live experiences identified as a major growth area. Following the transaction, Rapino retains 4.2 million shares directly held, representing a stake worth $761.28 million as of the market close on 6 August. Live Nation, the world's largest live entertainment company, operates concert promotion, ticketing, and sponsorship businesses. The company reported $26.3 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue and maintains a market capitalisation of $42.3 billion. The stock delivered a 22% return over the twelve months ending on the transaction date.

Live Nation posts record Q2 with $7.7B revenue amid legal troubles and monopoly ruling

Live Nation reported second quarter revenue of $7.7 billion, up 9% year-over-year, with operating income of $522 million, up 7%. The company saw record quarterly performance for both Ticketmaster and concert attendance. Ticketmaster generated revenue of $852 million, up 15%, selling 90 million fee-bearing tickets, an 8% increase. Concert revenue grew 8% to $6.4 billion, with fan attendance reaching 49 million, up 10% and the highest second quarter on record. The results follow Live Nation's settlement with the Department of Justice, which included up to $280 million in payments. The company reported $450 million in legal accruals related to ongoing litigation, including a jury finding of unlawful monopolisation. CEO Michael Rapino said more than 143 million tickets have sold through mid-July, over 14 million ahead of last year's pace.

Live Nation Q2 earnings preview: revenue expected to grow 7.8% year on year

Live Nation is set to report second-quarter earnings on Thursday after market close. The live events and entertainment company beat revenue expectations last quarter with $3.79 billion in sales, up 12.1% year-on-year. Analysts expect revenue growth of 7.8% year-on-year this quarter, down from 16.3% growth in the same period last year. Over the past 30 days, analysts have largely maintained their estimates. The company has missed Wall Street revenue forecasts multiple times over the past two years. Live Nation shares currently trade at $180.93, with an average analyst price target of $192.50. The stock price has remained flat over the past month. Peers AMC Entertainment and Delta recently reported quarterly results, with revenue growth of 14.2% and 18.7% respectively, both exceeding estimates.
