Community Engagement Manager - Balcatta Support Centre
Weekly travel to remote sites is required, with flexibility to extend onsite time for mobilisation and operational priorities.

- Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of working with Indigenous communities and cultural protocols.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation capability.

- Build strong relationships with site teams, Elders, Traditional Owners, and local communities.
- Act as a key liaison between Sodexo, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure culturally respectful and inclusive engagement.
- Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance.
- Support operational teams in delivering contractual outcomes.
- Review local businesses to identify opportunities to support Village and Camp projects.
- Engage and support local Indigenous-owned businesses, nurturing opportunities for growth and sustainability.
- Promote Sodexo as a trusted long-term partner within regional and remote communities.
- Identify and promote local employment opportunities across casual and permanent roles within the Village.
- Work closely with Sodexo recruitment teams to develop and execute local recruitment strategies.
- Work closely with Sodexo’s Indigenous affairs team on initiatives and community programs as required.
- Support Indigenous participation in employment, training, and supplier opportunities.
- Ensure culturally significant events and initiatives are respectfully and appropriately supported.
- Plan and deliver community and Village events, including Australia Day, theme-night celebrations, and NAIDOC Week.
- Encourage resident participation in community events and initiatives onsite.
- Identify local project and service opportunities.
- Collaborate internally to deliver shared outcomes.
- Prioritise local employment where possible.
- Ensure all contractual requirements related to community engagement are met and documented.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on community engagement outcomes and social value contributions.
- Provide regular updates to site and contract leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Sodexo policies, Indigenous engagement commitments, and client expectations.

Sodexo has signed an agreement to acquire CRH Catering, a leading convenience sector operator in the Mid-Atlantic U.S., to enhance its InReach convenience offering.
