A11 embeds its team of experienced operators into fast-growing tech companies to act as an external operations team that drives internal growth. By working alongside founders and business leaders, A11 helps scale various functions from within the client organization, using hands-on, in-house leadership to accelerate expansion. The product works by integrating its operators into the client’s teams, taking on operational roles and driving change across functions such as growth, product, and operations, effectively serving as interim management and growth consulting. What sets A11 apart from competitors is its bench of operators who have already scaled companies to billion-dollar valuations and its ability to embed deeply into a company’s day-to-day operations, rather than offering purely advisory services. Its goal is to help founders navigate rapid growth, optimize scaling processes, and build the operational capabilities needed to achieve large-scale success.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • July 2025 branding broadened A11 beyond Project A portfolio companies into external customers.
  • LinkedIn posts in 2025 named ARX Robotics, Quantum Systems, and Spryker as active relationships.
  • A11’s operator model suits 2025-2026 scaleups needing interim leadership faster than hiring managers.

What critics are saying

  • A11 discloses few operating metrics, making hiring quality and revenue concentration opaque.
  • Clients like Trade Republic and sennder can internalize capabilities, shrinking A11’s mandate by 2026.
  • If one flagship client leaves, A11’s embedded-services model suffers immediate revenue and reputation damage.

What makes A11 unique

  • July 2025 rebrand from Project A Ops Unit signaled an expanded, standalone platform.
  • A11 embeds operators inside clients, unlike advisory firms offering slide-deck support.
  • Founders Jan Miczaika and Moritz Claussen bring scaling credibility from Wooga and cargo.one.
