Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create effective PowerPoint or equivalent presentations.
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude to learn and master company-specific programs.
  • Minimum of an associate degree in a related field.
  • OSHA and/or NFPA coursework or certifications.
  • Must hold or have the ability to obtain safety accreditations such as Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician, or Certified Utility Safety Professional.
Responsibilities
  • Perform job-site safety visits and audits.
  • Participate in incident analysis and record keeping.
  • Create job project-specific safety plans.
  • Track and analyze safety performance indicators.
  • Identify hazardous conditions and develop mitigation steps.
  • Deliver new-hire orientation and safety training.
  • Develop safety education materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on safety-related initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in training and career development opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to seven years of experience with a commercial electrical contractor, commercial construction, or utility safety.
