Lifehouse agency expands at Petaluma Marina Business Center.

Lifehouse agency expands at Petaluma Marina Business Center. September 18, 2026 by Lorena Castaneda Lifehouse, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is expanding its presence in the North Bay with a new location at the Petaluma Marina Business Center, next to the Sheraton Petaluma. Lifehouse has entered into a lease agreement with Basin Street Properties for the property, providing the organization with significantly more space to support its growing North Bay operations. The expanded location at 755 Baywood Drive will give Lifehouse additional room for staff and services while providing a convenient and welcoming setting for the individuals, families and community partners it serves and is projected to open late October. The move reflects Lifehouse's continued growth in the North Bay and its commitment to ensuring that its services can grow alongside the needs of the community. "We are very excited about this next chapter for Lifehouse in the North Bay," said Nancy Dow Moody, CEO of Lifehouse. "Our services and the number of people we support in the North Bay continue to grow, and we needed a space that would allow us to meet that growth. This new location gives our team the room we need while strengthening our presence and our ability to serve individuals and families throughout the region." For more than 70 years, Lifehouse has helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build meaningful, fulfilling lives with greater independence, connection and participation in their communities. Today, Lifehouse supports more than 370 individuals throughout the Bay Area through a broad range of services and programs, including residential and supported living services, employment and community inclusion, recreation and family support. Lifehouse's North Bay programs are an important part of the organization's mission, providing individuals and families with support and opportunities close to home. The expanded Petaluma location will provide greater capacity for Lifehouse to continue developing its services, supporting its staff and responding to the evolving needs of the North Bay community. "Basin Street Properties is pleased to welcome Lifehouse to Petaluma Marina Business Center," said Jacob Chaparian, Vice President of Leasing at Basin Street Properties. "Lifehouse provides such valuable services to our community, and we are happy to be part of their continued growth in the North Bay." The partnership between Lifehouse and Basin Street Properties represents an investment in the future of Lifehouse's North Bay services and the people and families who depend on them. As the organization continues to grow, the new Petaluma location will provide the space and flexibility needed to strengthen its work throughout the region. PMC brightens LifeHouse dining room with new chairs.

PMC brightens LifeHouse dining room with new chairs. - July 2026 PMC has donated a full set of new white chairs to LifeHouse, transforming the look and feel of the charity's community space as part of the company's ongoing commitment to supporting local causes. The donation replaces LifeHouse's old seating with fresh, matching white chairs across the venue, a small change that staff say has made a big difference. In a note to the PMC team, LifeHouse's Mike, Angie and Bev thanked Steve, Cozette and the wider team, writing that the new chairs have had "a dramatic brightening effect on the whole room." "We wanted to thank you profusely for the excellent, new, white chairs you have bought and delivered to us," the note read. "Here's a couple of photos showing the dramatic brightening effect they have on the whole room! Do come and see the effect when you're next passing!" The new chairs are the latest step in a long-standing partnership between PMC and LifeHouse. Over the years, PMC's support has included four major venue transformations, each aimed at enhancing the space and making it more welcoming and user-friendly for both the clients LifeHouse supports and the staff who work there. "It's exactly this kind of impact we hope for when we support organisations like LifeHouse," said Steve Cripps, Managing Director, PMC. "Seeing the space transformed, and knowing how much it means to the team and the people they support, is what makes this work worthwhile." PMC's involvement with LifeHouse goes beyond funding and refurbishment. Twice a year, staff volunteers spend a day at LifeHouse cooking breakfast for clients, a hands-on tradition the team looks forward to and one that reflects PMC's wider commitment to building genuine, ongoing relationships with the communities it serves. 16 July 2026
