  • Create a culture of technical excellence, execution, and leadership.
  • Attract a diverse group of top talent. Mentor, coach, grow and support them.
  • Partner with product management to create focused, meaningful priorities that are connected to the company’s success. React effectively to changes.
  • Create an execution strategy that ensures engineering consistently delivers reliable, secure, products in a way that drives customer relationships forward.
  • Be conversant in systems design and architecture, with comfort reasoning about trade-offs, defending technical decisions, and owning technical direction for the company.
  • Interact directly with customers. Keep engineering closely aligned with customer sentiment and feedback.
