Requirements
  • Proficiency in C++ or Rust; experience with Robot Operating System or Robot Operating System 2 is a plus.
  • A strong foundation in control theory, kinematics, and dynamics of robotic systems.
  • A proven track record of shipping code for commercial or open-source robotics projects with significant impact.
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems and safety-critical software.
  • Hands-on experience building and debugging electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning for robotics and advanced motion planning.
  • Experience using simulation tools such as Gazebo, MuJoCo, or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
  • Ability to work shifting schedules and travel to the United States from time to time.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize real-time control architectures for manipulation, navigation, and teleoperation.
  • Investigate and compare frameworks and algorithms to guide core software platform decisions.
  • Integrate LiDAR, vision, inertial measurement unit, and force/torque sensors with brushless DC servo motors.
  • Develop algorithms for motion planning, kinematics, and advanced control strategies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and operations teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Create testing procedures for simulation and real hardware to validate performance and reliability.

  • The ability to speak Chinese and communicate directly with vendors.
