Key stories impacting RH. Here are the key news stories impacting RH this week: * RH projected fiscal 2026 revenue of $3.6 billion to $3.7 billion, above the analyst consensus of approximately $3.5 billion. The stronger full-year outlook supports management's expectations for improvement later in the year. * RH released its fiscal second-quarter 2026 results for the period ended August 1 and scheduled an investor conference call to discuss the results, guidance, margins and demand trends. The company did not provide an EPS figure in the reported guidance update. * RH forecast third-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $928.0 million to $936.8 million, below the consensus estimate of roughly $964.0 million. The shortfall suggests near-term sales may be weaker than analysts expected and was likely the main source of selling pressure. * The stock entered the earnings release after falling sharply over the prior month, with analysts focused on margin pressure and whether CEO Gary Friedman's second-half recovery plan would gain traction. The below-consensus third-quarter outlook increases the risk that investors will remain cautious despite the improved full-year revenue target. RH company profile. RH Outlet in Farmington is 1st major opening in Hunter's Square revamp. Detroit Free Press Aug. 28, 2026, 1:58 p.m. ET A Restoration Hardware outlet has made its way to Farmington Hills. Doors opened Thursday, Aug. 27, on the furniture and home goods store along Orchard Lake Road at 14 Mile. Restoration Hardware is the first of the "new businesses coming on in the Hunter's Square development," Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Orlaske Rich said in a video on social media. "A significant portion of the center had fallen into vacancy and disrepair, yet the site carried strong nostalgic value for the surrounding community, making the case for change both commercially urgent and politically sensitive," according to Symmetry Management, the developer on the project. The project will add several new retailers and restaurants to the partially vacant plaza, including Meijer, Total Wine & More, Nordstrom Rack, RH Outlet, First Watch and Cava, according to developers. Existing tenants that will remain at the center include TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Dollar Store and Ulta. The plaza is the former longtime home of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, which plans to relocate to West Bloomfield. Several other tenants were relocated within the center as part of the rebuild, including Five Below, Buffalo Wild Wings and Mattress Firm, Symmetry Management stated. "We're very delighted to have them as part of our community," Rich said. "So when it's remodel time, stop on by RH Outlet and check out our newest of businesses." The business is located at 30995 Orchard Lake Road.
RH to bring furniture gallery and restaurant to The Corners. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Aug. 28, 2026, 5:04 a.m. CT A high-end furniture store with a restaurant has planned its first Wisconsin location at The Corners in the Town of Brookfield, months after its longtime outlet location closed in Milwaukee's Third Ward. RH, formerly known as Restoration Hardware, proposes to open at 20351 W. Bluemound Road, town documents show. The 18,798-square-foot building would house the home furnishing retailer as well as a dining area with capacity for approximately 124 guests. The store would serve as an anchor tenant in a standalone, single-story building on the north side of The West End, an area of the shopping center that once was a La Quinta hotel and two restaurants. The West End redevelopment plan includes 38,000 square feet of retail and 277 apartments along West Bluemound Road. Hours of operation for the RH design gallery and restaurant are proposed for 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the last seating at 9 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, with the last seating at 8 p.m. The Brookfield location would bring the upscale furnishing brand back to Wisconsin after RH Outlet Milwaukee closed its Third Ward location at 224 E. Chicago St. in March. Until the Brookfield location opens, the two closest RH locations to the greater Milwaukee area are in Illinois at Oakbrook and Chicago, which is known for The 3 Arts Club Cafe, according to a list of locations on the brand's website. Brookfield's Architectural Review Committee passed the design of the store Aug. 12. The Plan Commission approved of the store Aug. 25. Now, the Town Board will meet Sept. 15 to give the concept final approval, according to Rebekah Leto, town planner. The addition of RH tracks with The Corners' plan to bring consumers brands that relate to their "aspirations and the way they live their lives," Robert Gould, CEO of Brookfield Corners LLC, said in a 2025 news release about the West End redevelopment. Since 2024, the shopping center has traded now-former tenants like the Silverspot Cinema movie theater for redevelopment that's brought Alo Yoga, a Los Angeles-based luxury activewear and wellness brand, and restaurant Margaux French Brasserie, among other establishments. Bridget Fogarty covers Brookfield, Wauwatosa and Elm Grove for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. She can be contacted [email protected].
