Requirements
  • All candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO). Experience in CO is defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and/or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
  • In lieu of degree, four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
  • Experience in adult learning with emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.
  • All candidates must possess the ability to incorporate/impart technical knowledge into their training delivery.
  • Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area.
  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
  • Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
  • Required Advanced Knowledge: OSI Model and TCP/IP protocol suite (Advanced Level), IPV4 and IPV6 (Advanced Level), Subnetting, Supernetting, and Variable Length Subnet Masking (Advanced Level).
  • Required Intermediate Knowledge: Functionality of common application layer protocols and services, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, TFTP, SNMP, Routing and Switching methodologies, Network Address Translation, Basic Protocol Analysis of IP, TCP, and UDP headers, VPNs and VLANs, Experience configuring networks with routers and switches, to include VLANs, Network traffic flow, and loop avoidance (Advanced Level), Static routes and dynamic routing protocols to include OSPF, Protocol analysis w/ tools such as Wireshark, Understanding network attacks and defense, Writing router Access Control Lists (ACLs).
Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as CO Instructor for Networking by delivering highly technical training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises and other delivery methods.
  • Assist with developing CO training curriculum (lecture content, student/instructor guides, exams, exercises, simulations, etc.).
