Requirements
  • An Associate degree and one year of experience in visa operations support; one year of supervisory experience may substitute for the visa operations support experience.
  • An additional two years of similar team-management experience may substitute for an Associate degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance; otherwise, an MRPT is required.
  • Must live within 90 miles of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and be a U.S. citizen.
  • Strong written and verbal command of the English language.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to analyze and evaluate trends and disseminate information to a wide audience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise, direct, train, and assist staff in performing assigned support functions.
  • Supervise employees and day-to-day operations, ensure work meets optimum quality standards, and provide procedures and retraining as needed.
  • Use independent judgment to assign work based on site needs to meet production or quality objectives.
  • Assist Operations Managers and Assistant Operations Managers with timely delivery of deliverables for the assigned functional area.
  • Track progress of activities in the assigned functional area, adjust work to achieve objectives, and report status to the Unit Manager or Assistant Operations Manager.
  • Manage the progressive discipline process and make recommendations for promotions and terminations.
  • Initiate performance reviews for employees within the area of responsibility.
  • Interview and assess applicants and make recommendations for employee selection.
  • Train new employees and conduct refresher training for current employees.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are used, understood, and kept up to date.
