- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Five years of related progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
- Sixty months of experience with manual testing and test automation frameworks in Agile.
- Sixty months of experience with SQL, extract-transform-load, and data validation for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Sixty months of experience with Selenium automation using different frameworks.
- Sixty months of experience programming in Java or C# .NET.
- Sixty months of database and extract-transform-load testing, including validation of data transformations and data integrity.
- Sixty months of quality assurance practices and methodologies, including black box testing, white box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
- Lead the creation of test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform software testing, test automation, and quality assurance for enterprise applications.
- Design and build automated test scripts and frameworks, including artificial intelligence-driven and agentic automation solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand application architecture, interfaces, and test environments and ensure alignment with company tools and methodologies.
- Use source control and configuration management tools such as GIT to support test development and deployment processes.
- Identify defects, recommend design improvements, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement component- and integration-level automation solutions to improve testing efficiency.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and support release planning and estimation activities.
- Evaluate test coverage and quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and automation practices.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and resolve complex issues through root cause analysis.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, reviewing test artifacts, and promoting best practices across teams.

The acquisition strengthens Vizient's capabilities in managing indirect spend categories as healthcare organisations face mounting financial pressures, particularly in technology-related areas. With healthcare organisations spending over $55 billion annually on IT across cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the acquisition aims to help clients bring more technology spend under contract and reduce avoidable costs. Empierus delivered over $36 million in savings for Vizient clients in 2025 through an established partnership. Empierus employees will join Vizient's team of over 250 experts across indirect spend and purchased services categories. Existing client relationships and contracts will remain unchanged.
