Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of benefits administration experience
  • Knowledge of benefits compliance including COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA requirements
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • PHR, CEBS, or equivalent certification are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Participates in a culture of continuous improvement and customer/service focus
  • Analyzes data to evaluate benefit programs and provide recommendations for program improvement
  • Oversees accurate and timely payments of benefit plan invoices
  • Completes auditing of benefit plan invoices and program membership/enrollment
  • Updates policy and procedural documents and forms
  • Responsible for data necessary for government compliance activities
  • Audits employee payroll benefit deductions
  • Primary contact for all benefit vendors
  • Provides customer service to all employees on benefit questions and issues
  • Works on internal communications and vendors to prepare communications and open enrollment materials
  • Facilitates wellness events ensuring inclusion of all employee groups
  • Updates/maintains minimum wage tracking by state and completed minimum wage analysis
  • Updates/maintains living wage data and completes living wage analysis
  • Completes data entry for salary surveys as needed
