THE OPPORTUNITY
The Endpoint Services Team is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual to support our area customers. To be successful in this role, you must be an excellent communicator and very organized. We are looking for someone who can lead by example and inspire their fellow co-workers. The Endpoint Services Systems Administrator is responsible for creating, maintaining, securing, and assisting the processes used by the rest of the Endpoint Services Team.

The System Administrator Team develops the workflow and automation that is critical to the overall success of customer devices. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the system tools used by the team
- Use available tools to maintain and ensure endpoint security
- Develop relationships with vendors and internal clients, ensuring that systems meet corporate quality standards and conform to industry best practices
- Use available tools to automate operating system installation and hardening
- Use available tools to package application installs and upgrades
- Monitor/maintain systems necessary for endpoint compliance
- Test OS updates, application upgrades, and new products prior to installation in production environments
- Coordinate implementation of software and hardware changes
- Interface with other Dillard’s associates, both technical and non-technical
- Works with network engineers, server administrators, software administrators, database administrators, and information security on various projects
- Work with 3rd party vendors for installation/support of software applications and hardware solutions
- Maintain compliance with PCI and other Security Requirements
- Keep physical inventory and installation records current
- Participate in on-call rotation
THE “MUST-HAVES”
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
- At least 3 years of experience working in a JAMF
- Proficient with BASH
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operating system issue(s)
- Available to work outside of regular business hours as needed
- At least 3 years of experience working in a professional IT environment
THE “NICE-TO-HAVES”
- Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience in application development
- Experience with Mac and mobile operating systems
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience with multiple scripting languages
- Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
- Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Experience with Group Policy
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL
- Familiarize yourself with your fellow System Admin Team members.
- Work with your Team Lead to gain a better understanding of workflow and priorities.
- Attend standup meetings of the System Admin Team.
- Have basic familiarization with the automation tools at hand.
WITHIN 2 MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Shadow fellow team members.
- Have a basic understanding of team functions.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Begin assisting team members with daily tasks.
- Self-identify areas in need of training.
