Requirements
  • No prior experience is required.
  • Basic construction skills and outdoor work experience are preferred.
  • A good driving record is required.
  • A clean criminal record is required.
  • The candidate must pass a physical examination and drug screen.
  • The candidate must be willing and able to work night shifts and some weekends.
  • The candidate must accommodate a flexible schedule and have reliable transportation to and from the branch office at all hours when needed.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel for projects outside the local area.
Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on testing of construction materials, including concrete, soils, rebar, and mortar, at commercial construction sites.
  • Document field observations and test results.
  • Conduct materials testing and geotechnical analysis activities under on-the-job training.
  • Travel to construction projects in the local area, Southeast, and other U.S. states as assigned.
