Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 1-3 years of experience in public accounting and / or a corporate tax department
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Basic knowledge of indirect tax
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • Prepare federal, state, and local filings with a focus on indirect taxes and information reporting
  • Assist in tax information reporting process in US federal, state, and international jurisdictions
  • Business process internal controls for indirect tax
  • Engage with tax authorities on questions and discrepancies
  • Assist in resolving customer service questions related to indirect tax and informational reporting
  • Maintain and reconcile indirect tax GL accounts
  • Contribute to monthly financial statement close processes and accruals
  • Work with the legal team on sensitive information verification
  • Participate in other tax projects as needed
