About the job
- You have completed a technical university degree or are a state-certified technician in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, or possess an equivalent qualification.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in production, project work, or the development of technical devices or systems.
- You are proficient in common quality-management methods and can apply them effectively to achieve quality objectives.
- You communicate confidently in spoken and written German and English.
- You contribute experience from equipment manufacturing to product-development projects for complex optical measuring instruments.
- You evaluate sample parts, assemblies, and production processes with the development department for manufacturability and cost, and independently perform type and component testing and technical approvals.
- You plan prototype construction and pre-series logistics in preparation for series production, working closely with other specialist departments.
- You plan and support series production of measuring instruments, create the required documentation and inspection plans, and train the relevant colleagues.
- You systematically analyze the causes of defects and develop suitable corrective measures to maintain product quality.
- You implement series changes, ensure compliance with standards, and optimize manufacturing to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness.
- You conduct cost analyses and cost optimizations jointly with development and production.
- You qualify new suppliers for purchased parts in cooperation with procurement and development.
- You advise production on technical questions.
- Experience in production, project work, or development of technical devices or systems is preferred.
