Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or training.
- At least 6 years of total development experience.
- At least 4 years of object-oriented application experience.
- Expert-level skills in Java web services and applications.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards.
- Networking knowledge, including sockets, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, and User Datagram Protocol.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current applications, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify solutions, and implement them.
- Develop and enforce policy and procedural changes within the development group.
- Develop and apply coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Lead code reviews.
- Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
- Develop and provide support for multiple applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with diagnostic tools, including Tealeaf, Fiddler, Internet Explorer Inspector, and HTTP Analyzer.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
