About the Role

Quest Partners is seeking a Quantitative Software Engineer to join our Technology team. Quantitative Software Engineers at Quest take on a wide range of responsibilities and challenges.  They participate in an Agile framework, continuously improving and expanding platform capabilities. Projects can span from data pipeline building to building trading systems to helping automate performance reporting. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build technologies that bolster research & trading productivity.
• Expand the system to new markets and asset classes.
• Work on cross-functional teams across trading, quant, and development to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Design software solutions that meet or excel beyond industry standards
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Build out infrastructure to support trading pipelines; data warehousing & containerization to drive the success of the business.

Experience:

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics; or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience building enterprise applications
• Passion for the financial markets and working with large amounts of data
• Knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures
• Experience with OOPL – C# preferred
• Experience with relational databases
• Ability to adapt to new technologies/platforms
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Desired
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with Snowflake

The base range for this role is expected to be between $140,000 and $200,000. This does not include other aspects of compensation such as discretionary bonus and a competitive comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to a candidate will vary within the range above depending on factors such as qualifications, education, and skill level.
