Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required in squadron administration, commander’s support, readiness or administrative support, deployment support, UDM-related support, or a comparable military administrative environment.
  • Experience maintaining administrative reports, correspondence, folders, or readiness/deployment data is required.
  • Ability to coordinate with flight leadership, UDMs, and support offices is required.
  • Strong organizational and customer-service skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist flight commanders with data requested by the Commander’s Support Staff in support of administrative programs, including task management, fitness, safety, security, supply, and manning programs.
  • Assist flight commanders in preparing, maintaining, and disposing of administrative reports and correspondence.
  • Serve as the point of contact for newly assigned aircrew, orienting them on organizational functions, introducing them to key personnel, and scheduling initial training and orientation requirements.
  • Coordinate with the UDM to schedule required pre-departure training for deploying personnel and their supervisors.
  • Provide deployment data and information to enable the UDM to coordinate deployment issues with wing, base, and higher-headquarters offices.
  • Maintain mobility and training folders and documentation in accordance with the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-403, AFI 33-332, applicable Geographic Combatant Command, Major Command, and installation supplements, and local guidance.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requirements supporting aircrew deployment to the UDM and resource advisor.
  • Provide aircrew pre-deployment and post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements to the UDM.
  • Assist flight commanders with deployment-reporting data collection in the Defense Readiness Reporting System, Status of Resources and Training System, and Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool, including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates, and provide the information to the commander and UDM.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate’s degree is preferred in business administration, office administration, human resources, logistics, or a related field.
