Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by optimizing and creating Presales programs and initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the technical sales process.
  • Equip Presales teams with knowledge and resources to deliver strong customer experiences through enablement content and reusable field-sourced assets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and best practices to streamline Presales workflows and operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Presales, sales, marketing, product management, and other teams.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the Presales organization.
  • Assist the Director of Global Presales Strategies in creating data-driven insights to identify improvement and optimization opportunities and refine strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage change requests for Presales technologies by gathering stakeholder requirements, implementing changes, tracking them to resolution, and ensuring compliance with governance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide project management support for new Presales programs, demo tools, and process-improvement projects, including developing playbooks, process documentation, maintaining new-product subject-matter-expert programs, and preparing presentations and written communications.
  • Facilitate global knowledge sharing through weekly webinars and curated field-sourced content to share best practices and reusable assets across Presales teams.
  • Create and maintain a database of relevant materials and work with assigned subject-matter experts on a scheduled basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Create, maintain, and promote Tiger Team programs for identifying, socializing, and continually educating field subject-matter experts across technologies.
  • Manage programs that collect feedback from win/loss reviews, customer stories, and technical lessons learned.
  • Promote and improve demo up-level programs, including enforcing standard demo methodologies using vetted content and improving related soft skills.
  • Manage a global skills matrix covering core Boomi products, common competitors, commonly used applications and systems, and coding, including improving verification methods.
  • Create and maintain rotational programs for security, professional services, solution architecture, and other areas to improve field sellers' technical knowledge.

Boomi buys Israeli startup Elementary for $43M to monitor data quality for AI agents

Boomi has acquired Israeli startup Elementary Data in a deal valued at about $43 million in cash and stock. It is Boomi's third Israeli acquisition, after Rivery and Lunar.dev. Elementary makes data observability tools that help companies monitor the quality and reliability of data used by AI agents and enterprise systems. Boomi's platform connects data, applications, and systems for more than 30,000 customers. Elementary had raised $8.5 million by the end of 2022 from TLV Partners, Cowboy Ventures, Y Combinator, and angel investors. All 17 employees, based in Israel, will join Boomi, which plans to expand its local operations. Boomi will keep supporting Elementary's open-source project and commercial product. "AI is only as trustworthy as the data behind it," said Steve Lucas, Boomi's chairman and chief executive officer.
