About the job
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency is required.
- Knowledge of Job Corps or a similar training program is required.
- Knowledge of social media and influencers is required.
- Knowledge of information technology and smartphone applications is required.
- Knowledge or experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher is required.
- Assist with presentations to local high schools, one-stop centers, and other venues to reach eligible populations.
- Assist with orientation sessions.
- Provide campus tours.
- Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors with initial prospect contact and maintaining contact with prospects, using social media where feasible.
- Conduct pre-arrival calls to prospective students.
- Assist with welcome activities for newly arrived students.
- Conduct pre-90-day focus groups with students and provide feedback to the Workforce Development Director.
- Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors with retention activities, including communication with students in unauthorized absence status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
