Requirements
  • A high school diploma or high school equivalency is required.
  • Knowledge of Job Corps or a similar training program is required.
  • Knowledge of social media and influencers is required.
  • Knowledge of information technology and smartphone applications is required.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with presentations to local high schools, one-stop centers, and other venues to reach eligible populations.
  • Assist with orientation sessions.
  • Provide campus tours.
  • Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors with initial prospect contact and maintaining contact with prospects, using social media where feasible.
  • Conduct pre-arrival calls to prospective students.
  • Assist with welcome activities for newly arrived students.
  • Conduct pre-90-day focus groups with students and provide feedback to the Workforce Development Director.
  • Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors with retention activities, including communication with students in unauthorized absence status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
