Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology.
  • New York State licensure or eligibility to become licensed in New York State.
  • One to two years of relevant experience.
  • A natural inclination toward leadership and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment while efficiently facilitating connections among services within a complex institution.
  • Rabies pre-exposure vaccination and titer costs are covered by Cornell.
Responsibilities
  • Join the international team of board-certified emergency and critical care veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians at Cornell University Hospital for Animals.
  • Provide technical expertise for routine and complex emergency procedures, including RECOVER-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation, advanced resuscitation, and stabilization of critical emergencies.
  • Collaborate and cross-train with additional specialty services to ensure leading-edge patient care.
  • Shape the future of veterinary medicine through collaboration with faculty and house officers and instruction of diverse Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students.
