May 21, 2026 US-based regtech start-up Eisen has raised a total of $18.5 million in funding following an $8.5 million seed round led by Index Ventures and a $10 million Series A led by MissionOG. The Series A round also saw support from Cowboy Ventures, First Round Capital, Homebrew, and Restive Ventures. Founded in 2021, Eisen is a compliance operations infrastructure company for fintechs and financial institutions that hold customer funds. The company focuses on escheatment and account dormancy risk, claiming to be the first "account offboarding" company. It uses AI-powered software to monitor accounts, track state-by-state compliance requirements, and alert institutions before assets become unclaimed property that must be turned over to government custody. Eisen provides automated communications, insights, and recommendations to spot and address risks that could result in consumers' lost funds, with the company claiming to have prevented more than 31% of assets being lost to state custody last year. With the newly acquired funds, Eisen states it will "expand its compliance coverage and grow the team serving fintechs, financial institutions, and digital asset companies".
