  • 10+ years of MedTech business development experience.
  • A proven track record personally leading and closing enterprise deals of €500k or more with global pharma or medtech companies.
  • Deep familiarity with the pharma and/or medical device commercial landscape.
  • An existing global-level network within pharma, including medical affairs, research and development, digital health, or procurement.
  • Experience navigating global budget structures, including MEA and global digital health envelopes, and multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Comfort working as an individual contributor in a lean, fast-moving environment, with autonomy.
  • Full professional fluency in Spanish and English; many key client meetings and negotiations are conducted in English with global counterparts.
  • A background in healthcare artificial intelligence, Software as a Medical Device, digital health, or a closely adjacent field.
Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the enterprise sales pipeline, focusing on global pharma and medtech companies.
  • Close strategic deals valued at €500k–€2M+, leveraging established relationships and building new ones at the global level.
  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy aligned with the product roadmap and go-to-market vision.
  • Work directly with the COO and CEO to co-develop account strategies, structure deal terms, and lead key negotiations.
  • Qualify and refine inbound leads generated by the marketing team, converting them into closed revenue.
  • Represent Idoven at industry conferences, advisory boards, and pharma innovation forums.
  • As the team grows, contribute to building and mentoring a high-performing commercial team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience selling artificial intelligence-enabled imaging, echocardiography, radiology artificial intelligence, or electrocardiogram solutions to pharma or health systems.
  • Experience in an early- or growth-stage company where commercial processes were built from scratch.
  • A network within cardiovascular pharma or clinical research organizations.

Madrid-Based Idoven Snaps €1.5 Million To Develop Ai-Based Solution For Early Diagnosis Of Myocardial Infarction

Every year, 4 million European citizens die from cardiovascular disease (CVD), and 20% of these deaths are caused by ischemic heart disease. Among the most common forms of ischemic heart disease is acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack or heart attack.In order to tackle this acute problem, the ASSIST innovation project consortium, led by the Spanish startup Idoven, has obtained from EIT Health, which is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, €1.5 million in funding over two years to develop the first artificial intelligence-based solution for early diagnosis and accurate triage of acute myocardial infarction.“ASSIST addresses the first cause of death for citizens of the European Union: cardiovascular diseases”, commented Izabel Alfany, interim general director of EIT Health Spain, “the project is aligned with one of the four strategic areas of EIT Health, taking advantage of full potential of health data for innovation, by using existing and new structures to generate and validate the artificial intelligence tool. The aim of the consortium is to improve the accuracy and reduce the time to diagnosis of patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction supported by the use of a technological platform called Willem, which employs artificial intelligence models. Through these advances, the ASSIST project aims to achieve a reduction in mortality rates in patients with acute myocardial infarction, which have been shown to decrease proportionally with the reduction of the time from diagnosis to intervention in the most urgent cases (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction).Dr
