Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to obtain the Home Visitor Child Development Associate Credential within one year of hire.
  • Experience working with young children and families, including knowledge of early childhood development, family services, and developmentally appropriate practice.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word and Outlook and learn web-based systems.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a properly insured vehicle or public transportation are required.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to making a difference.
Responsibilities
  • Establish positive relationships with children and families.
  • Facilitate home visits.
  • Help families access necessary information, resources, and services.
  • Facilitate socialization and family days.
  • Ensure continuity of services for enrolled expectant families and children ages 0–3.
  • Work in collaboration with inclusive education and support teams to provide comprehensive home-based services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in Head Start or Early Head Start.
