Requirements
- Registered Practical Nurse or higher designation with current registration with the College of Nurses.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Three to five years of related nursing experience.
- Experience in supervision of staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Working knowledge of the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, eMAR, Med e-care, and related software.
- WHMIS and CPR certification.
- Commitment to resident-centred care and customer or hospitality service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Wellness in creating and maintaining resident wellness goals.
- Maintain updated health information for residents.
- Conduct medication administration audits.
- Support the wellness team during the Director of Wellness’s absence.
- Coordinate with Ontario Health at Home, community services, and physicians, and facilitate in-house physician visits.
- Work with the Director of Wellness to maintain compliance.
- Support team members with care-planning execution.
- Champion health and safety practices within the home.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Three to five years of experience in a retirement home setting.
- Demonstrated ability to participate and function in a team-oriented environment.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
