Construction is planned to begin in 2027 and will support clinical and commercial production of biologic medicines. The project will include a commercial-scale biologics manufacturing facility, a research pilot plant, and a centralised quality-control laboratory. It will also retain approximately 4,500 existing full-time jobs in Pennsylvania. Combined with GSK's previously announced Lancaster County facility, the company's planned investment in Pennsylvania totals nearly $1.7 billion.
