About the job

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in consulting, financial services, technology delivery, business analysis, project leadership, product implementation, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading implementation efforts from requirements through testing, launch, and operational adoption.
  • Strong technical fluency, including the ability to understand system architecture, integrations, application programming interfaces, data flows, environments, and technical dependencies.
  • Experience working directly with engineers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to evaluate technical options and clearly explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience translating complex business and operational needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Ability to enter unfamiliar initiatives, quickly understand the business problem and system landscape, and establish a path to delivery.
  • Strong execution discipline, including experience managing scope, dependencies, risks, milestones, testing, release readiness, and post-launch issues.
  • Proven experience building credibility and trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including simplifying complex concepts and influencing decision-making across distinct audiences.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn new business domains, technologies, and operating models quickly.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions and apply first-principles thinking.
  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor across multiple projects and technology domains simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Own technology initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, launch, and stabilization, moving across Salesforce, advisor portals, data platforms, reporting solutions, workflow tools, and operational processes based on team priorities.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, process flows, system behaviors, data needs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans, ensuring engineering teams have the clarity required to build effectively.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, data, and integration teams to evaluate solution options and dependencies, considering effects on scalability, maintainability, data quality, user workflows, downstream systems, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Manage dependencies across business and technology teams and resolve issues that could prevent delivery; remain involved through testing, release readiness, rollout, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Define how new capabilities will operate in practice, including ownership, controls, exception handling, support processes, documentation, and adoption, and ensure solutions can be sustained and scaled after implementation.
  • Develop relationships across business and technology teams through accountability, transparency, and consistent execution; communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions proactively while maintaining stakeholder trust and alignment.
  • Identify when solutions require coordinated changes across CRM, portals, data, reporting, marketing, investor servicing, and operational platforms, and drive complete business outcomes rather than isolated features or point solutions.
  • Create structure in ambiguous environments and translate objectives into actionable plans; identify dependencies, sequence work, proactively remove blockers, and ensure commitments are delivered with quality and urgency.
  • Assess solution options across platforms, applications, and data domains; balance business priorities, delivery timelines, operational considerations, and long-term architectural goals to recommend durable enterprise solutions.
  • Challenge assumptions, approach problems with curiosity and critical thinking, understand underlying business objectives, and evaluate solutions through both business value and enterprise technology strategy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, reporting tools, data platforms, and cloud-based enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Financial Services or Wealth Management experience is helpful but not required.

Blackstone unveils $63B Broadcom financing deal with BofA, Citi and Morgan Stanley

Blackstone has announced a $63 billion financing deal with Broadcom and a group of banks that includes Bank of America, Citi, and Morgan Stanley. Its shares edged higher on the day, trading at $119.06. The asset manager has a market value near $136.61 billion. Fifty of 93 analysts rate the stock a buy, with a median price target of $138, about 15.9% above the current level. Shares sit at support around $118.74 and trade below their 50-day and 200-day moving averages. A close above $125.04 would signal buyers are following through, while a drop below $118.74 would suggest the move is fading.

Blackstone shares jump 5.3% as $63B inflows offset 13% earnings drop

Blackstone shares rose 5.26% to $115.34 on Thursday, even though the alternative-asset manager reported weaker third-quarter distributable earnings. Investors focused on strong fundraising and recurring fees. Distributable earnings fell 13% to $1.32 per share, and net realisations dropped 34% to about $332 million as investment exits slowed. Net inflows topped $63 billion, lifting assets under management to $1.37 trillion. Fee-related earnings rose 6%, softening the hit from weaker investment-sale profits. Blackstone now needs to turn more investments into realised profits while keeping new capital coming in.

Blackstone eyes AI financing boom, with 7% of its $1.4T assets already exposed

Blackstone sees growing opportunities to finance artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, from chips and computing equipment to power generation and data centres. "The needs of capital here are so enormous. It's unprecedented in our lifetimes," President Jon Gray said on the firm's third-quarter earnings call. The firm is reportedly committing $9 billion to a junior-debt tranche in an $18 billion financing package for Anthropic's AI chips and computing infrastructure, part of a broader $60 billion arrangement. In June, its Credit & Insurance business joined a $35 billion financing launched by Apollo and Broadcom for Anthropic. Blackstone is also weighing dedicated investment vehicles alongside broader funds. About 7% of its $1.4 trillion in assets under management is exposed to AI infrastructure. Gray said the firm focuses on physical infrastructure and long-term contracted assets to manage risks such as technological obsolescence.

Blackstone's Gray says CoreWeave will "find a way through" financing strain on $51.6B debt

Blackstone president and chief operating officer Jon Gray says CoreWeave will "find a way through" its financing pressure. He told CNBC the neocloud company has a talented chief executive officer and a strong underlying business. CoreWeave's stock has fallen 14% over the past week, while bond yields and credit default swap spreads have risen. The company has roughly $51.6 billion in total debt, including about $35 billion in notes, bonds, and loans. Gray said demand for computing power is strong, with compute pricing up 50% for neoclouds that get through. Their legacy chips are worth more than expected, he added, and their data centres are leased below market. Blackstone reported third-quarter revenue of $3.22 billion, below the $3.28 billion analysts expected. Adjusted earnings of $1.32 per share beat the $1.26 estimate.
