- A Master's Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
- A current Oklahoma license as a licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, or similar mental health credential is required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic techniques and behavioral-health treatment therapies is required.
- Knowledge of crisis-intervention techniques is required.
- Experience treating clients across the lifespan, from children through adults, and treating substance-abuse disorders is required.
- Some experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding is required.
- Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, is required.
- A valid driver's license and insurability are required.
- New hires must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- New hires must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, pull, push, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's specific needs.
- Provide counseling sessions to individuals, groups, and families across the lifespan.
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic approaches to help clients understand and change their behaviors.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines.
- Work with clients to identify situations or behaviors that interfere with their recovery.
- Refer clients to additional resources and services, such as support groups, inpatient treatment facilities, or vocational training programs.
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in behavioral health.
