  • The candidate must meet annual safety training requirements and work assigned shifts within a 24-hour day while following hospital policies and procedures to minimize exposure risks.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the onsite hospital administrator for a defined shift under the general direction of the Senior Director of Inpatient and Emergency Services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the healthcare environment, communication and relationship management, business skills and principles, professionalism, and leadership.
  • Work with emergency, inpatient, and operational leadership as an administrative liaison to internal hospital departments and external community resources.
  • Assess clinical indicators and apply critical thinking to collaborate with registered nurse and physician or licensed independent practitioner teams.
  • Allocate clinical resources, coordinate patient placement, and manage hospital operations.
  • Ensure that clinical staff function within established policies and practice guidelines and comply with state, federal, and organizational regulations and standards.
  • Initiate and contribute to staff development, professional practice, quality, performance improvement, and patient experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Two years of managerial or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Cerner is preferred.
