  • Demonstrated experience with 802.1X, EAP-TLS, MAB, RADIUS, TACACS+, Change of Authorization, dynamic VLAN assignment, downloadable access control lists, Security Group Tags, and enterprise network-access-control concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Cisco Identity Services Engine with Active Directory, public key infrastructure and certificate services, switches, and endpoint-management or endpoint-security platforms.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex wired access-control issues across Cisco Identity Services Engine, switches, endpoints, identity services, and certificate infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine distributed deployments, including Policy Administration Node, secondary Administration node, Policy Service Nodes, Monitoring and Troubleshooting, pxGrid, node registration, replication, backup and restore, and operational health monitoring.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, change-management processes, incident management, problem management, and customer-facing operational support.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with network, security, endpoint, identity, and service-management teams.
Responsibilities
  • Design, create, test, implement, document, and sustain Cisco Identity Services Engine authentication and authorization policies, authorization profiles, identity source sequences, endpoint groups, profiling rules, posture policies, and exception workflows.
  • Engineer and support 802.1X, EAP-TLS, MAB, RADIUS, TACACS+, guest access, contractor access, certificate-based authentication, and network-device administration.
  • Implement policy actions using dynamic VLAN assignment, downloadable access control lists, Security Group Tags, Change of Authorization, reauthentication, restricted-access controls, quarantine actions, and endpoint-remediation workflows.
  • Integrate and sustain Cisco Identity Services Engine connections with Active Directory, public key infrastructure and certificate authorities, endpoint-management tools, endpoint-security platforms, vulnerability-management tools, security information and event management systems, pxGrid clients, switches, virtual private network infrastructure, and other approved security services.
  • Resolve complex authentication, authorization, certificate, profiling, posture, endpoint, Change of Authorization, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network-device issues; analyze Identity Services Engine Live Logs, session traces, alarms, packet captures, switch logs, support bundles, and endpoint data to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Administer and troubleshoot the distributed Cisco Identity Services Engine deployment, including Policy Administration Node, secondary Administration node, Policy Service Nodes, Monitoring and Troubleshooting, pxGrid, node groups, replication, backups, restores, certificates, performance, capacity, and disaster-recovery procedures.
  • Support Cisco Identity Services Engine upgrades, patches, certificate renewals, policy migrations, technology refresh, node recovery, backup validation, and approved maintenance activities.
  • Develop implementation, test, validation, rollback, and post-change review plans.
  • Develop and maintain policy naming standards, configuration baselines, test procedures, implementation checklists, rollback procedures, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Review proposed policy changes for operational impact, dependencies, and access risk.
  • Support pilot efforts, site onboarding, phased rollout, transition to operations, recurring-incident reduction, and continuous improvement of Comply-to-Connect policy and service delivery.
  • Mentor teammates, provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams, coordinate Cisco Technical Assistance Center cases, and produce complete escalation packages, root-cause analyses, and after-action reports.
Desired Qualifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Security or current equivalent Cisco security professional certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise certification.
  • Cisco Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine training or equivalent demonstrated Identity Services Engine engineering experience.
  • Cisco Department of Defense Comply-to-Connect training or demonstrated experience implementing Comply-to-Connect-aligned Identity Services Engine capabilities.
  • CompTIA Network+, CySA+, CASP+, or other relevant network/security certifications.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco SD-Access, TrustSec, pxGrid, Cisco Secure Client, Cisco Secure Firewall, and/or network segmentation technologies.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, PowerShell, or similar tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Department of War, federal, intelligence-community, or other regulated enterprise environments.

CACI shares jump 17% after Q2 revenue hits $2.71B, topping defence contractors

US defence contractor CACI International reported revenues of $2.71 billion for Q2, up 17.6% year on year and exceeding analyst expectations by 0.7%. The company also beat EBITDA estimates and its full-year EPS guidance surpassed analyst expectations. The stock has risen 17.2% since the earnings report and currently trades at $607.03. Defence contractors as a group had a strong quarter, with the 14 tracked companies beating revenue consensus estimates by 4% on average. However, the sector has seen share prices decline 4.4% on average since reporting. Geopolitical tensions, including Russia's invasion of Ukraine and China's aggression towards Taiwan, continue to highlight the importance of defence spending, though demand can fluctuate with defence budgets and political administrations.

By Nick Wakeman , Editor-in-Chief, Washington Technology August 21, 2026 12:47 PM ET A new facility covering 61,000 square feet is the latest step in a years-long shift from services to technology. CACI International is building out real manufacturing muscle as works to apply years of investments to transform itself from a services company to a technology-drive government contractor. That shift has been in the works for several years and the latest step is the opening of a manufacturing center in the Rochester, New York, that will focus on defense electronics. The new 61,000-square-foot facility increases CACI's manufacturing footprint by 300%, the company said. CACI has been investing in manufacturing capabilities since at least 2019, when it acquired LGS Innovations and Mastodon Design to add signal intelligence, electronic warfare and cyber products. The acquisitions provided CACI many of its earliest manufacturing capabilities. In 2024, CACI acquired Azure Summit and that added a facility in Melbourne, Florida for radio frequency and electromagnetic-spectrum hardware. CACI's late 2025 acquisition of Arka Group also added a Danbury, Connecticut hub that produces electro-optical and infrared sensors for satellites. Earlier this year, CACI hired Chris Monoski for the newly-created role of executive vice president of manufacturing. This indicates that CACI sees manufacturing as core to the business model. "Years ago, we invested in software-defined innovation because we knew the character of modern warfare was changing. Today, those investments are being transformed into advanced electronic warfare capabilities right here in Rochester," CACI President and CEO John Mengucci said. CACI's investment in the Rochester facility further emphasizes the criticality of manufacturing for the company. "As we expand our manufacturing capacity nationwide, we intentionally chose Rochester because of its exceptional talent, world-class capabilities, and longstanding community partnerships," Monoski said. "This facility reflects our long-term commitment to the region and positions us to deliver advanced capabilities faster, at greater scale, and with the quality our customers depend on." The facility will support production, delivery, training, customer acceptance testing and onsite storage for CACI's Terrestrial Layer System Brigade Combat Team Manpack (TLS BCT Manpack) program with the Army. The facility also has room for expansion that CACI can use to produce more software-defined electronic warfare capabilities at scale, the company said. "Demand for advanced electronic warfare technology is surging, and Rochester gives us the capacity to deliver for our customers today while preparing for tomorrow," said Tom Kirkland, CACI executive vice president of electronic warfare.

The facility is intended to support production, delivery, training, customer acceptance testing and onsite storage for CACI's Terrestrial Layer System Brigade Combat Team Manpack, or TLS BCT Manpack, program with the U.S. Army. TLS BCT Manpack is CACI's electronic warfare technology for dismounted soldiers, designed to support operations in the electromagnetic battlespace. The company said the center provides room for expansion to produce additional software-defined electronic warfare capabilities at scale. The facility's work supports dozens of manufacturing and fabrication small business suppliers across upstate New York. What did CACI officials say about the New center? CACI President and CEO John Mengucci said the opening reflects the company's long-term commitment to Rochester and its ability to deliver technologies customers need in contested environments. "Years ago, we invested in software-defined innovation because we knew the character of modern warfare was changing," added Mengucci, a 2026 Wash100 Award winner. "Today, those investments are being transformed into advanced electronic warfare capabilities right here in Rochester. As we continue to grow, we're creating high-skilled engineering and manufacturing jobs, investing in local talent and strengthening the capabilities that protect America." Chris Monoski, CACI's executive vice president of manufacturing, said the company chose Rochester for its talent, capabilities and community partnerships. "This facility reflects our long-term commitment to the region and positions us to deliver advanced capabilities faster, at greater scale, and with the quality our customers depend on," Monoski added. Tom Kirkland, EVP of electronic warfare at CACI, said demand for electronic warfare technology continues to grow and that the Rochester facility increases the company's capacity to meet it. Our adversaries never pause, neither can we," Kirkland noted. What other contracts & deals has CACI secured? CACI's Rochester expansion comes on the heels of its $2.6 billion acquisition of ARKA Group, which added space and ground capabilities to the company's portfolio. The company has also grown its Army footprint, securing a $287 million contract to support IPPS-A modernization and a $250 million task order for spectrum dominance efforts.
