Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
  • Ability to work professionally and collegially with a highly educated scientific customer base under pressure and in the public eye.
  • Ability to work independently, remain solution-oriented and motivated, and support customer and company success.
  • Ability to handle multiple constituencies and simultaneous tasks in a complex environment with competing priorities.
  • Expertise in project management tools and software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of pre- and post-award documentation for contracts, interagency agreements, and cooperative agreements, including funding memoranda, statements of work, acquisition plans, clearance documents, cost estimates, and requisitions.
  • Track and manage DHQP funding, ensure accurate allocation of funding mechanisms, and perform strategic planning and financial analysis.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations for adherence to policies and procedures and effective service delivery.
  • Perform administrative duties requiring oversight and analysis and work across CDC systems, including ICE, G-Invoicing, GMM, RMS, UTAM, and CONCUR.
  • Work with Public Health Advisors on resource planning and project budget preparation.
  • Confer with and represent the program and division across CDC offices, grantees, and external partners.
  • Participate in CDC response activities and training exercises under the direction of the DHQP Team Lead, including staffing the EOC desk to support CDC's mission.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with the CDC to understand its culture and environment.
