About the job
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies, including SBM and/or ISBM.
- Good applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical and/or electronic systems.
- Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
- Good applied knowledge of WCM standards.
- Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices.
- At least 3 years of experience as a shift leader in a manufacturing company, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.
- Supervise, coordinate, and support machine and packing operators by managing priorities, eliminating bottlenecks, and training production staff to execute their tasks correctly.
- Participate in technical operations, including color and mold changes, blade, equipment, and line cleaning, and assisting with inline setup; perform small repairs and routine maintenance.
- Make immediate decisions on urgent production-line issues, including stoppages and technical interventions, prioritizing staff safety, product quality, and production continuity.
- Authorize production starts at machine startup and after changeovers or major maintenance in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
- Communicate relevant production issues promptly and accurately to relevant departments, and report breakdowns and failures in a timely manner.
- Ensure correct execution of the production quality-control plan and perform random product checks, including visual inspections and weight verifications.
- Collaborate in investigating causes and implementing corrective actions, including specific quality controls, sorting activities, and processing defective bottles in the warehouse.
