- Technical training, certification(s), or a degree, plus 8 years of experience.
- DoD Manual 8570.01-M certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II role.
- TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
- Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network, wide area network, and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor the network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Monitor and test website performance to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption.
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
- May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
- Administer network security measures, including firewall administration and management.
