Requirements
- The internship must be part of a hospitality training program.
- French language proficiency is required.
- Strong English language proficiency is required.
- Previous service experience is required.
- Knowledge of the Silverware tool is an asset.
- Ability to work as part of a team is required.
- Flexibility and initiative are required.
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to last-minute changes is required.
- The role requires standing and walking throughout the work period, frequently lifting and carrying loads, and occasionally kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and using stairs or ramps.
- Applicants must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 country.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistently professional, welcoming, and engaging service to guests.
- Ensure the proper setup and preparation of the assigned service area.
- Carefully perform assigned service tasks and actively participate in all restaurant setup activities.
- Serve guests according to their expectations and anticipate their needs and preferences.
- Regularly restock service stations with clean cutlery, clean glasses, and setup condiments.
- Organize kitchen order tickets, follow up on allergens with supervisors, change cutlery, and clear tables.
- Know the menu, wine pairings, and associated grape varieties.
- Participate actively in cleaning tasks in the department.
- Work flexibly and cooperatively, including occasionally in another department when needed.
- Learn and apply LQA technical and emotional standards.
- Continue developing technical and theoretical knowledge to provide high-quality service to demanding guests.
- Participate in one performance evaluation meeting with the supervisor during the internship.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Deliver service with discretion and honesty.
- Maintain professional conduct, a friendly manner, and composure.
- Follow ergonomic, health and safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
- Help limit waste and support sustainable practices and effective department stock management.
- Follow the department's and company's policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Perform other assigned duties.

- Knowledge of a third language is an asset.
