The firm activated over 100,000 new policies during the three-month period, bringing its cumulative total above 700,000 policies. Its third-party channel revenue grew 90% year-over-year to $73 million. Adjusted EBITDA reached $35 million, contributing to a Rule of 40 score of 132. However, the company expects margin compression in the second half due to higher third-party channel revenue, which carries lower margins than its direct channel. The collaboration combines Liberty Mutual's established brand with Ethos' technology to provide instant coverage decisions through a streamlined digital process. Customers can qualify for and purchase coverage with just a few health questions via Liberty Mutual's website and distribution partners. The partnership aims to make life insurance more accessible and affordable for American families. Ethos Technologies has expanded its partnership with Banner Life Insurance Company to offer two new Ethos-branded whole life insurance products: Simplified Issue Whole Life and Guaranteed Issue Whole Life. The products will be available through Ethos' technology platform, extending the company's final expense solutions to more families.
