Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Sitemate raised $18 million in December 2024 from Blackbird, Shearwater Capital, and Marbruck.
  • Headcount doubled to 140, and Austin expands central US sales in 2025.
  • Storm launched June 2026, with July and August updates for video and attachments.

What critics are saying

  • Sitemate's Storm metrics come from company claims, not independent verification.
  • Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud already bundle broader workflows, squeezing Sitemate adoption by 2027.
  • If AI reporting stalls, Dashpivot stays replaceable paperwork software and loses expansion leverage.

What makes Sitemate unique

  • Dashpivot digitizes paperwork for industrial field teams across construction, logistics, energy, and manufacturing.
  • Gearbelt adds asset management, extending Sitemate beyond forms into fleet and equipment tracking.
  • Storm embeds AI data capture inside mobile Dashpivot, targeting offline jobsite workflows.
