- Design, write, analyze, and debug code, including testing on development robots
- Work within a team to gather, refine, and document requirements
- Work across teams with controls, hardware, safety, and ops to define and test interfaces

- BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with linux development environment and version control (eg git)
- Experience debugging robotics systems, including both hardware and software
- Strong personal skills (communication, well motivated)
- Exposure to ROS, LCM, or another message passing framework
