Responsibilities
  • Lead the evening welding program and create an effective learning environment with an appropriate balance of discipline.
  • Provide lecture, group, or individual instruction to a diverse student population to support AWS certification attainment.
  • Educate and train students in the skills necessary to succeed as welders and meet established student-performance goals.
  • Provide administrative support for course logistics, including scheduling and curriculum development.
  • Oversee student support services, including advisement, orientation, and job placement, for evening-program students.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and Program Specialist to maintain student performance profiles, audit records, attendance records, and grades for the evening program.
